At Horton Mill, our Rshe curriculum will enable children to grow up to become happy, healthy, respectful and productive members of society. Children will know our British Values and why they are important. They will understand the importance of respecting the protected characteristics. Children will develop their understanding of themselves as individuals and develop tolerant and respectful attitudes to others. Children will know and value their own individual strengths and abilities, know how to develop themselves further as individuals to achieve their own goals. They will become resilient members of society, knowing how to deal with challenges and setbacks. Children will know how to keep themselves physically, emotionally and financially healthy and safe in our rapidly changing world. They will feel prepared for the physical and emotional changes they will encounter as they grow.
