This half term our learning is linked to our new topic ' Which birds and plants would Peter Rabbit find in our local area?'
Phonics & Reading

Online books will be sent every Friday. Please listen to your child read every night and talk about the story.
Collins Ebooks (Please ask if you require login details.)
You will also receive a book to share. The sharing book is for you to read to your child. Please support your child in taking care of these books.
Homework
Year One tricky words will be sent home to read, learn and remember. It is important that you encourage and support your children with their home learning, but please do not do it for them.
Spellings are sent home on Thursdays. The children will have a spelling quiz on the following Monday. Please support your child to learn these spellings.
Uniform
Please make sure that ALL items of clothing, including P.E kits, are clearly labelled with your child’s name. Please note that trainers are not part of the school uniform and must not be worn for school unless it is PE day.
P.E
The children will have P.E on Wednesdays and Fridays. Please wear your PE kit to school on these days. Children must wear a white plain T-Shirt, black plain shorts/tracksuit bottoms/leggings, black plain tracksuit top/hoodie and trainers. No jewellery must be worn.
