History at Horton Mill

At Horton Mill, our history curriculum will enable children to deepen their understanding of the past and how it has shaped the world today.  Children will develop their curiosity and a strong sense of enquiry. Our curriculum will empower children to think like historians—be curious, reflective and confident in exploring the past. Children will be able to ask their own questions and see history as something to investigate, not just to remember. Children will leave Horton Mill with a lifelong passion for history.
