School Gates

Dear families,

As you are aware, last year we changed the morning routine of coming into school due to a Health and Safety visit. The officer noticed that a number of children were at significant risk of being involved in a car accident because of the overuse of the staff car park by families.

We were advised to close the main gates to the school at 8.30 and re-open them at 9.15. Children and families must use the Greengate Street entrance to come to school. Children should be in their classrooms by 8.55. If a child is late, families must walk round to the school office to sign a child into school.

Mr Bradbury, our site manager, can only open the gates for professionals or other visitors to the school before 9.15. He cannot let families through the gates before 9.15. Families should come through the Greengate Street entrance.
