‘Achievement for All’ Quality Mark (AFA)
This award recognises the school’s effective practice in supporting children with identified additional educational needs.
Eco School (Green Flag)
This award recognises the school’s fantastic work in thinking about and addressing a wide range of Eco issues that affect our school and our community. We achieved Bronze and Silver awards, before being finally awarded the ‘Green Flag’, an official recognition that we are an Eco-school. We have since renewed our Green Flag three times – an achievement that we are extremely proud of.
Healthy Schools
This award recognises the school’s brilliant work in promoting healthy bodies, minds and lifestyles with our children, families and school staff. We are currently a ‘Gold’ award school, having achieved our Bronze and Silver.
Investors in People
This is an award that acknowledges the effective support systems and processes in school in relation to support for staff, training, team work, etc.
Quality Mark (Basic skills)
The Quality Mark recognises the school’s effectiveness against a national set of criteria identifying good standards and practice in English and Mathematics.
Rights Respecting (UNICEF)
Rights Respecting School is an award linked to UNICEF that focuses on ways to develop children’s rights and responsibilities further. We currently have our ‘Recognition of Interest’ and are currently well on the way to achieving Level One.
